Last Wednesday the girls and I picked up my mom and headed up to Whistler to celebrate my moms 70th birthday. It was a girls only celebration. We had a lot of fun together: shared a room, ate, laughed alot, played cards, watched movies, went to the top of the moutain twice and played in the snow, swam, hot tubbed, puttered around, shopped and laughed some more. We spent alot of time laughing.  My mom cracked me up as I watched her “butt slide” (as Becca calls it) down the snowy hill in her wet weather gear. The pants and coat that she was wearing gave her a super fast slide and it was hysterically funny to see her sliding down the hill. I’m thankful and grateful for my mom. It was good to celebrate – three generations of us, together. The weather was great, the hotel was wonderful and the mountain was beautiful.
