What an amazing experience, watching Gwyneth Sharon Febus’s birth. She arrived at 10:50 pm, Thursday, September 1. She weighed 8 lbs. 2 oz and is 21 inches long, all healthy, pink, lots of hair, and so darn beautiful and cute. I started to cry when Beth and Jeremy told me her name. It’s truly an amazing honor to have someone named after you.  Beth did an amazing job during her labor and delivery. She is a very strong, brave and courageous woman. Jeremy did such a wonderful job coming alongside his wife. I was moved and touched by his tenderness, love and strength that he imparted to Bethany during the entire birthing process. It was a blessing, honor, and priviledge for me to be there and to have shared this experience with them. Dave and the kids and I all went and visited them at UW hospital yesterday. The kids each took a turn holding Gwyneth. She was alert and let them all hold her and just stared at them. We took lots of pictures. We are all looking forward to spending time with her and getting to know her.
