I really like that phrase, “celebrating art in life”. I noticed it today while I was wandering around at University Village. It is the catch phrase for a store called, Fireworks. They have all kinds of different kinds of stuff that I enjoy looking at. For me, celebrating art in life can take on different things. I thought about how friendships are an art to me. They have different colors, movements, and styles. I celebrated my friendship with Cathy today by stopping for a nice leisurely lunch at Piatti (a restaurant in University Village). It was really fun. It is good to celebrate and have fun. We chatted about all kinds of things: kids, family, God, prayer. I am going to miss her company when she heads back home to England.
